Head of residential

Wilson is the Head of the firm's Residential Department, comprising the estate agency arm, Hunters Residential which has offices in Morningside and Atholl Crescent and the Conveyancing team which is based in the Head Office at Atholl Crescent.

Wilson set up his own business "Hunters" in 1998 dealing with all aspects of Residential property. The estate agency side of the business was fully launched in 2000 and grew rapidly. Since 2005, Hunters Residential has consistently been ranked in the top 5 ESPC firms. In 2008 Wilson was elected to the Board of the ESPC and as their public spokesperson is frequently required to provide radio and television commentary on the property market.

Prior to setting up his own business Wilson was a partner in Garden Haig Solicitors, before both firms became part of Gillespie Macandrew LLP. He has over 25 years experience of working in the Property Market and uses this to provide sound advice to clients whether they are buying, selling, remortgaging or simply showing an interest in property.

Wilson's outside interests include playing golf and watching rugby or football (basically anything sporting). He has been a regular on the Scottish After Dinner Speaking circuit for many years now and is also the Chairman of the Radio Forth Cash for Kids charity Trust.
